While you could go directly to the Publish option in the Backstage, you can also access the publish options by opening the Info page as shown in Figure 9-15. In fact, since we are publishing an updated form for an existing list, the Quick Publish option may be your fastest and easiest choice. However, before actually publishing the form, you may want to first run the Design Checker to ensure that no incompatibilities exist between your form and your SharePoint web site.

Just like sites, areas in SPS also utilize templates to control their appearance. When you create an area within the portal, it is assigned a default template; however, you can change the assignment by selecting Change Settings from the Actions list. This link opens a tabbed page that controls most of the aspects associated with an area. The template for an area is designated on the Page tab. On this tab, you can specify that the area inherits its template from its parent, uses a default template, or uses a custom template based on another web page. Additionally, you can specify how subareas underneath this area will appear.

Flexible processing of each element in an enumeration Most foreach loops will use hard-coded logic However, as always, delegates add flexibility and can save space For example, sometimes you need to apply the same logic to several different input streams You can write a series of foreach loops that passes each element of each stream to the same method, or you can make a series of calls to a method that takes an enumeration parameter and a predicate parameter Each method call takes a lot less CIL than each foreach loop For another example, sometimes you need to process an enumeration either this way or that way (or, perhaps, some other way) You can write a conditional statement that chooses between different foreach loops, or you can write a conditional statement that sets a delegate, and then apply the delegate to the enumeration.
